SADA is moving closer to the clouds!

Beginning Tuesday May 31st SADA will be conducting headquarter operations from the sixth floor of the Lankershim Plaza building at 5250 Lankershim Blvd., in the heart of the NoHo Arts Districts in Los Angeles, California. The district is home to a vibrant community featuring unique options for dining, entertainment, and nightlife.

The energy-efficient, LEED GOLD certified building was constructed in 2009. It is located just two blocks from a major public transportation hub connecting Universal City, Hollywood, Downtown Los Angeles, and the west San Fernando Valley.

SADA’s last move was in 2005 when the company relocated to a creative office building space. In the six years since the team has quadrupled, hence the need for additional space and an even cooler work environment. In light of various awards, certifications and universal recognition for developing innovative cloud computing and IT consulting solutions, SADA expects this growth to continue.

SADA will continue to maintain its presence in Santa Barbara, Chicago, San Antonio, Washington DC and Indonesia. Below is SADA’s new address and contact information. All email addresses and phone numbers will remain the same:

SADA Systems to speak at Cloud Intelligence Technology Conference 2011

SADA is proud to sponsor the Cloud Intelligence Technology Conference. We are happy to team up with the good folks at QuickStart Intelligence to share our knowledge of the cloud computing space with Southern California companies who are looking into SaaS, IaaS, PaaS solutions to increase business productivity and work efficiency. Our very own Director of IT Services, Niv Dolgin, will be leading the discussion on the best time for companies to migrate to the cloud. The easy answer obviously is "NOW," but Niv will evaluate different scenarios leveraging experience with our past cloud migration projects (focusing on our BPOS and Live@edu experience and our outlook on Office 365) to paint a complete picture of the cloud platform migration and deployment process.

Interested in joining the discussion? The Cloud Intelligence Technology Conference will take place:

When: March 15, 2011
Where: Anaheim Convention Center
800 West Katella Avenie
Anaheim, CA

We hope to see you there!

Awards and accolades for SADA's 10th Anniversary

Our 10th anniversary has come and gone, but our quality of service and level of dedication in the I.T. field is continually being recognized by industry leaders and the community alike.

SADA Systems and our CEO Tony Safoian were recently recognized at our 10th anniversary event by political dignitaries LA City Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Congressman Brad Sherman, Council Member Paul Krekorian, Council Member Dennis P. Zine and UCNH Chamber of Commerce President Jack Witt. Its hard to believe that this leader in I.T. and cloud computing services came from humble beginnings. This company was recognized for it's exceptional growth over the past decade--with a special focus on the last 3 years where SADA displayed a 64% revenue growth. Featured 4 consecutive times on the INC 5000 Fastest-Growing Companies annual list, SADA helped stimulate the economy and create jobs during these tough economic times. We here at SADA really enjoy what we're doing and appreciate all the support we're getting from the community and community leaders.

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa honored SADA with a personalized letter of congratulations delivered by speech writer Rachel Kruer.

Congressman Brad Sherman and his team presented SADA with an American flag that flew over the United States capital.

Council Members Paul Krekorian and Dennis P. Zine both delivered official government certificates commemorating SADA's 10th anniversary and our various technological and business achievements. The Los Angeles City Council has recognized SADA for our commitment and dedication to empowering the global economy through Information Technology.

UCNH Chamber of Commerce President Jack Witt reminisced with former President Tony Safoian as he presented the company with a special plaque.

From the bottom of our hearts, we send a huge "Thank you!" to everyone who has helped make the last 10 years such a great success for us!

SADA Systems at EDUCAUSE 2010!

SADA Systems was recently invited to host office hours at the Google Booth at EDUCAUSE 2010. Our talented Business Development Associate Hratch and savvy Sr. Solutions Engineer Nicky shared stories and answered questions regarding Google Apps for Education content migration strategies and best practices.

SADA was proud to feature Kent State University in our Google Apps for Education case study highlighting our work on developing a unique opt-in, on-demand legacy content migration for KSU students and staff. Over 120,000 Google Apps users were provisioned smoothly and effectively with the assistance of this custom migration platform developed by one of the top Google Partners around. Our work allowed KSU to gradually transition away from their legacy email platform while improving overall efficiency and productivity.

And then there was the Go Google Tailgate! Watch your favorite SADA reps shoot some hoops at 0:16 and 1:34.

Thanks Google, EDUCAUSE 2010 was a blast! Read more about Google at EDUCAUSE 2010 at the official Google blog.

SADA Presents Cloud Computing at Breakfast Event

The Big Switch

On Tuesday, September 9th, SADA and Google came together to present services that represent a major shift in how businesses and individuals think of computing. Dubbed "The Big Switch" after the book by Nicholas Carr, the event explored the concept of cloud computing from a Google perspective. Google is a leader in the cloud computing movement. Their Google Apps suite of hosted applications combines email, word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint style presentations, and wiki-like collaborative spaces. By hosting email and apps with Google, businesses and organizations can greatly reduce hardware costs and licensing fees. Also, IT professionals who were previously occupied by mundane and non-creative activities, like server backups, can now focus on activities which add business value to organizations.

SADA Systems, Inc. was one of the first ten Google Enterprise Partners selected at the launch of Google Apps in early 2007. Since becoming a Google Enterprise Partner, SADA has been at the forefront of a several successful Google Apps implementations. SADA offers a number of Google Apps Solutions in Google's Enterprise Marketplace, and a number of the attendees of the event had engaged SADA for assistance with their own Google Apps deployment.

Attendees of the event were treated to breakfast at the City Club on Bunker Hill. Google and SADA both offered informative presentations, emphasizing the coming change in how businesses fulfill their technology needs. The presentations included organizations and enterprises who have either deployed or are considering deploying Google Apps to fulfill their business email and collaboration needs. A question and answer session followed the presentations.

Below is SADA's slide show presentation from the event. It is noteworty that this presentation was created using the Google Docs Presentations solution part of the suite of products available under the Google Apps umbrella.

SADA's President and CEO, Tony Safoian, announce that attendees of the event get 15% off of SADA's deployment services if they engage SADA before the end of September. So, if you attended the event and wish to benefit from this discount ACT SOON!
